“ Whoever really works with these colour exercises, plants his
spirit more deeply into his soul, thereby creating a harmonious
soul-mood and thus also, a healthier one.”
| M. Hauschka
Colour is to the feeling life what food, air and water are to the physical body.
Scientific materialism largely left behind the profound insights of the previous generation of scientists, including Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe (1800’s), and has since largely neglected the insights of artists who have remained true to the deeper spiritual activity that is engaged in the experience of artistic activity.
The scientist Rudolf Steiner, however, took Goethe’s scientific and artistic work further, particularly his work with colour and nature, and this module aims to introduce participants to some of the main pictures arising out of Steiner’s understanding of colour.
