Margaret Glass

Registered General Nurse, Midwife and Health Visitor.

Born and trained in Britain, she has since lived and worked in her profession in Britain, Australia and now Singapore. In her extensive career she has worked in both community and hospital settings, in general and specialized medical areas, and in cities, towns and even outback desert regions. She has worked with all ages, from new borns to elders. She came to Singapore to live in February 2005 and worked for the next three years in a private maternity hospital until going into private practice.

Margaret’s broad general nursing experience alongside her specialized abilities makes her work very encompassing in scope and depth.

Although she is a midwife her work is not confined to pregnancy and birthing matters but covers all aspects of living with illness, whether the client is the one facing the challenge of illness or the one who is the carer.

Throughout her career she has assisted parents in all aspects of their early parenting experiences, and now also trains domestic workers in infant care and first aid with children.

Margaret’s dedicated wish is to facilitate parents to create the optimum pregnancy, birthing and post-natal experience for themselves and their child: one in which they feel empowered and supported.
